Made it to Iowa!
What a busy week… Ethan and I are working on a full
ride report to post as soon as possible. I’m also sorting through
3,000+ pictures from two cameras and carefully considering
a major change.
I’ll let you all in on the latest goings on asap…
The road is loooooong!
Keep us in prayer, and let me know what I can be
praying for you about.

I’m glad you two are having fun!! My brother-in-law and his friend left on Sunday for a road trip on their motorcycles! Going to go on this road called “Tail of a Dragon” or “Dragon’s tail” (which ever! LOL) I think its would be soooooo awesome!!!
Thats ALOT of pics!
It’ll be fun seeing some of them!!!
HUGS
Praying for you and your friend!
yeah..long roads..that’s about all iowa does have. that and corn. lol. i do not envy your long, flat drive through that state or the others around it. hehe
missing you.
Oh great…now I’m gonna be singing “The long and winding road” all night…thanks.
Oh ya, good luck with those 3000+ pics…looking forward to seeing some of them.
Me too.
The long and winding road
That leads to your door
Will never disappear
Ive seen that road before
It always leads me her
Lead me to you door
The wild and windy night
That the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears
Crying for the day
Why leave me standing here
Let me know the way
Many times Ive been alone
And many times Ive cried
Any way youll never know
The many ways Ive tried
But still they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long long time ago
Dont leave me waiting here
Lead me to your door
But still they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long long time ago
Dont leave me waiting here
Lead me to your door
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Enjoy it all. This is the day the Lord has made, be glad and rejoice in it.
I’ll be praying you have a great (and safe!) trip!!
And normally I would say “make sure you take lots of pictures” but I know you will so I don’t need to worry about it.
I miss you immensely.
I’m praying for you and Ethan. I can’t wait for pictures!
HAHA momyfish and nanatrish are showing their age…but then I know that song too.
May the Lord be before and behind you both, In Jesus’ name.
A big group of bikers passed me on the road yesterday, and I thought of you.
Hope you have a wonderful trip!!
RYC: Wow man long time no hear! I’m not getting on you, I know you’ve been buried under a mountain of things. Thanks for your encouragement, I’ve not been feeling well enough to even find a new church, so it’s been hard. Good to hear from you, and I can’t wait to see all of those pictures you’ve been taking.
You and Ethan take good care of each other on this great adventure, and you’re both in my prayers. I am thankful that you are able to make this great journey after all. God is truly gracious!

Eric!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven’t a clue what your plans are. Like how long you’re staying in Iowa, or if you’re just passing through or what………. but I’m THRILLED that you’re in MY STATE!!!!!!!! hahaha (And my parents are in Yours! How Funny!) You should stop by if you have time. You have my # if you need directions.
I would love to visit with you guys if it works out, but may the Lord’s will be done. Have a great, and safe, ride!
P.S. I LOVE that homey flat Iowan shot you got. Sweet!
Major changes?
)
(ie, Eric gets to Iowa and realize the state is nothing but a big corn field. A lovely corn field of course, but still. Just corn. and he modifies his travel plans to include cooler states
Will be praying for you guys. Drive safe!
Be excellent to one another.
Miss u so much!!
Hope u r well!!!
Praying (the secong time i pray for u)
Hey. What major change? Where have you been?!!
Great to hear from you! I love the Iowa countrside but I’m a country boy so corn fields are good! I’ll be praying for your safety. Enjoy your trip and I look forward to seeing lots of pictures! Say a prayer for family issues for me when you have a minute! Be blessed Bro.
You are in my prayers Eric. Congratulations on arriving safely in Iowa. I look forward to reading about your travels and seeing your photos.
Sure, I tried to call you but your number has changed. Guess I’m not on your “friends to notify of number changes” list. HA anyway, wondered if I could see you and get that Spanish since I am in TN. And then I get your blog and find out you are in IOWA! Maybe you were thoughtful enough to pack it in your little pack and you will drop it off at the house. How nice of you. I am kidding of couse. Have a safe trip and watch out for poles! (and deer)
Eric, that is so awesome! I am so insanely jealous…the trip sounds like such a fun one. Keep filling us in!!!
Hope you enjoyed Iowa! Be safe! I’m still praying for you both!
You’re really getting my travel blood pumping again – I can’t wait to get my bills paid off, trade my car for another pickup, and hit the road on new adventures!
When I drove back and forth across the country in my travel days, I always thought Tennessee was the longest state to get through. Some of the midwest can be pretty long and winding too.
Looking forward to the pics!
Blessings!
Wow!! That’s so awesome! I hope you both enjoy your trip
I will most definitely be praying for you!
Good luck with your ponderings of a major change
I know how hard it can be sometimes — but, God is with you, and He won’t lead you into anything that He knows you can’t handle
I will be praying that you have a safe & fun trip!
That’s A LOT of pictures!
Praying for you, that you have a fun and safe trip. Keep those pics coming! Hugs from NH
Yup, I’ll have my last ‘Travelling Teen’ post up within the next couple of days, it’ll have stories about our last five or so days of vacation. It’ll be great!
Love in Christ, Caleb
Sweet! great lines! for a sec i thought you took that moving as i scrolled down…be safe dude, cuase I know on those flat straight roads you gunna want to max out your bike but please done kill yourself…
Iowa. . . is mostly flat, I think. It has corn. It has three times as many vowels as consonants.
Tonight, I head south. To North Carolina. Mountains! And a proportionate balance of vowels and consonants. And maybe bears.
Eric you are in my prayers and you could pray for me to let go of some of this weight so my back does not hurt. Judi
